Frequently Asked Questions

  • The Neurolog Program is a professionally structured framework to fight cognitive decline and neurodegeneration. We use non-pharmaceutical interventions that are scientifically validated and low risk.

The Program runs over a series of 12-week blocks, progressively introducing new interventions to fight neurodegeneration through exercise, mobility, nutrition, sleep, and other practices.

We use one-on-one coaching to personalise our interventions to suit each participant’s lifestyle. Participants also receive access to educational resources and access to devices and technologies to help them with their journey.

  • Please follow the link to Register Your Interest. The link will take you through a brief questionnaire to determine your suitability.

  • The ability to measure and track progress is part of what makes the Neurolog Program unique.

Tracking biomarkers is key to personalising the Program. Tracking also helps with motivation, removes anxiety, and gives you a sense of more control over your life.

The Neurolog team tracks a range of biometrics, including data from smartwatches, health and performance tests, and standard questionnaires used in research studies and clinical trials.

As scientists, the use of objective measurements to rigorously measure the impact of our interventions is core to our profession. We believe a data-driven approach is essential to getting the best outcome.

  • You can pay on a month-by-month basis, or we offer discounts for paying in advance for each 12-week block, or for multiple 12-week blocks.

We encourage paying in advance, as it helps you with commitment. It also helps us to make our program accessible to more people.

  • We will be in touch within a few days to let you know about our next available Program start. Usually our participants can start within 2-4 weeks.

  • Yes. There may be group activities that you miss, but our Program is designed to be done from anywhere in the world.

Our team will help you stay on track with healthy habits whilst you are out enjoying the world and being your best self.

Just let us know your plans and our support team will adjust your schedule so our coaches can connect via video conferencing at times that work for you.

  • In order to make a measurable and lasting benefit, it is important to be systematic. Therefore, each 12-week block is designed to progressively and systematically introduce new interventions.

Each block lasts for 12 weeks, because it allows sufficient time to rigorously evaluate and personalise the effectiveness of our interventions.

After you complete a block, you can advance, where we will go deeper into interventions that are working well, and progressively introduce new interventions to take it to the next level.

  • The core aspects of the program are online. We will provide access to all of the education, instructional, and motivational materials online, so you can read and digest them at your own pace.

Our one-on-one coaching sessions are conducted via an online video chat, like Google Meet, making it as convenient for you as possible.

Our measurements can all be taken through a smartwatch and smartphone, which gives us the necessary data to understand how you are progressing.

As you advance through the levels, we may recommend optional tests that require you to attend in person. We also conduct optional in-person events, which we highly recommend you attending.

  • Depending on your plan, coaching sessions take place every week, or every two weeks. Prior to each session, your coach will review your data. During the sessions your coach will discuss your progress and refine your interventions to help you to reach your goals.

Sessions typically run for 30 minutes to 1 hour. However, the first and last coaching sessions of each level take longer and are the most involved, as we collect more information to benchmark your progress.

We will encourage you to bring questions regarding the educational and instructional materials. Our coaches will also work with you to find answers to any other questions you have regarding your brain health, and any other approaches to fight cognitive decline and neurodegeneration.

  • In order to get the most out of our Program, a consistent effort of approximately one hour per day is optimal. We understand that this may feel like a big commitment. But don’t worry, the time will be well spent and the best investment you will ever make, as it will improve and extend your quality of life.

We don’t expect anyone to be perfect, so when motivation ebbs, we will be here to help you to get back into the flow. Helping you stay on track is one of the most valuable aspects of the Program.

We also know that everyone is different, so at the start of the Program we work with you to set a schedule that can integrate into your lifestyle.

  • That will be up to your GP or your neurologist. We highly recommend discussing the Program with them when you enrol.

At the end of each 12-week block, we will provide you with a report to share with your GP, neurologist, and care team. These reports may help them optimise your treatment.
